I am currently working as a Flash Designer/Developer for Human IT, which is part of
the Human IT Group. My role covers all aspects of the project life-cycle, I am involved
with project specs, communicating with the client, mock-ups and the main build.
I was previously the lead New Media Developer for The Marketing Innovation Group,
I was the key Flash Developer for the company working on the latest products the company
offered, advancing them technically and allowing their key product, the iBrochure to
be fully content managed. Then before this, I was a Web Designer for part of the Caudwell Group called
Caudwell Logistics. Whilst working here I have worked on many large blue chip
e-commerce websites for clients such as Orange, Nokia and Tesco.
My skills are both creative and technically based. I have the ability to produce
designs which fit the needs of the client and their target audience. These designs
can then be driven through from concept to completion using such skills as Flash,
HTML, CSS and I am developing my knowledge of C# in ASP.Net.
Previous to my current role I was the head of Multi-Media Design at Nunwood Consulting.
I was responsible for everything graphical; this consisted of web design, video editing,
creating interactive flash presentations and producing the companies marketing materials.
I received a first class BA (Hons) degree in Moving Image Design, delivered by the
University of Huddersfield. The course embraced a wide range of practical areas
such as video production, electronic imaging and web design whilst covering
